An arrest is an expense nobody plans for. The premium is set at 10 percent of the bail, but you do not always have to pay it all at once. For qualified co-signers, we offer plans with little or no money down so help is not out of reach.

How payment plans work

The premium itself does not change, it is the state set 10 percent. What we can adjust is how you pay it. Instead of one lump sum, a qualified co-signer can put a small amount down, sometimes nothing to start, and spread the rest over manageable installments. We look at the co-signer's situation, the bail amount, and the case, then build a plan that fits a real budget.

What helps a co-signer qualify

• Steady income or stable employment that supports a payment schedule.
• A local tie to the community and a willingness to take responsibility for court appearances.
• Sometimes collateral, depending on the size of the bond, which can be discussed case by case.
• Private legal counsel on the case, which can lower perceived flight risk.
